Bethany Bond is a photographic artist living in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. She earned a BA in Studio Art & Anthropology from The University of Vermont in 2002, and an MFA in Photography at the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2005, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She attempts to understand life through photographs, interactions with other humans, and reflections on and connections with the natural world. She currently lives off the grid in a diy house (with her husband, newfie, and kitties), raises goats and honeybees, tends a garden, endures long winters, enjoys her family and friends, and teaches photography and digital media at Johnson State College in Vermont.
